Ranvet Folactin Red® Mineral Supplement for Paddocked Horses

Folactin Red® is specifically formulated to meet the needs of paddocked and stud horses of all ages. Folactin Red® supplies all essential minerals, as well as co-factors Vitamin A, Vitamin D and Folic Acid, which are critical for sound bone growth and development. Folactin Red® aids in the promotion of proper absorption, utilisation and retention of Calcium and Phosphorus, whilst rectifying their deficiencies and incorrect ratios, in order to promote their deposition in bone.

Folactin Red® may also be fed where Oxalate pastures are being grazed to combat calcium deficiencies, and can be used to effectively balance vitamin and trace element deficiencies common in pastured horses. Folactin Red® comes as a highly palatable powder which can easily be mixed into the ration, and is safe for breeding stock.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE/CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Mix Ranvet Folactin Red thoroughly through feed. A measure is provided.

One level measure holds 30g of Folactin Red.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As Folactin Red to brood mares, foals, weanlings and yearlings is advised until training/racing commences. At this time, continue mineral supplementation with Folactin Blue during training/ racing/ competition.

DOSAGE:

Pregnant Mares 120g daily, Lactating Mares 150g daily, Empty Mares 60-90g daily, Stallions 60-90g daily, Foals (Creep-Fed) to 3 months 15-30g daily, Foals (Creep-Fed) to 5 months 30-45g daily, Weanlings 60-120g daily, Yearlings 120g daily.
