Ranvet Salkavite® for Horses

Description

Salkavite supplies a concentrated source of all critical electrolytes and B-group Vitamins, alongside potent anti-oxidants, to maintain optimal body fluid balance which is essential for nerve and muscle function.

Salkavite provides all essential elements necessary for efficient energy conversion from carbohydrates, proteins and fats, as well as rectifies B-group Vitamin deficiencies common in high grain/ energy diets. Supplementation of Salkavite can reduce dehydration, muscle fatigue, cramping, poor performance, tissue damage and delayed recovery following exercise. Salkavite is a highly palatable powder, which can be easily mixed into the ration, added to drinking water, or used as a pre-saline drench.

Salkavite can also be used in conjunction with Ranvet's Electro Paste during intense training or long distance travelling.

Directions

Dosage rates/CONTRAINDICATIONS:

RACING & TROTTING HORSES: 30-60g daily as routine, plus an extra 30g the day before and the night after a race.

STALLIONS AT STUD: 30g daily.

YEARLINGS: 30-60g daily during sale preparation.

ENDURANCE HORSES: 30-60g daily ad routine, plus an extra 30g the day before and the night after a ride.

POLO & SHOW HORSES: 30g daily, plus an extra 30g in the night feed after an event.

TRAVELLING HORSES: 60-90g prior to start of journey, 30g in drinking water each day of trip.

*May be used as pre-saline drench 160g in 2L of luke warm water.

DIRECTION FOR USE:

A measure is provided. One level measure holds 30g Salkavite®. Salkavite® may be provided in the feed, in drinking water, or via a saline drench (must be administered by a vet).
